FOR THE MEMORY, FOR THE FUTURE

Abstract

The article is dedicated to publication of the monograph on the occasion of anniversary of the Scientific Library of Odessa I. I. Mechnikov National University. During 200 years of its history, each period had an impact on its work, condition of its funds and readers’ interests. Special attention was paid to new pages in the history of the library that were opened basing on archive documents and small-circulation publications. Today they became a bibliographic rarity.
